Welcome change with this two-hour, special Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga Class, complete with Pranayama and Trataka Meditation.
Autumn yogasana focuses on digesting our experiences and food, releasing extraneous movement, releasing the last of summer's heat, and renewing the structure from spring. Forward folds and knees-bent postures like Temple, Storytellers, and Garland help us release tension and built-up heat from the posterior body and core, while stabilizing our minds. Sun Salutations and core kriya fire up digestion and connection. Savasana and yoga nidra allow us to release and make space before pranayama and Trataka meditation calm, ground, and even comfort our hearts and minds. Bring your journal for insights that arise about what you welcome and release to make way, for questions to sit with this season of letting go.
