Sun Salutations are easy to adapt and create warmth, flow, connection and strength. Warming breath is your friend: think Kapalabhati, Bhastrika, Right Nostril (Sun Channel) Breath. HIIT is a great addition to your practice. Sleep a little more, but rise a little before the sun (about 7:15 right now). Add warming spices, diverse grains in moderation, healthy fats and meat if it’s your jam. Favor root veg, apples and seasonal treats (citrus in December!)       <image:caption>Karen DiTrapani is a Shamanic Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in Traditional Earth based healing techniques, Soul Retrieval and Shamanic Journey work, and healing with the Mesa. She has completed an intensive shamanic studies program and subsequent practitioner training with the Power Path. She studies with Peruvian Paco Adolfo Tito Condori Tupac, and is a Mesa Carrier in that tradition. Most recently returned from the Jungle in Peru learning traditional way of the Peruvian Limpia. Karen specializes in working with trauma, depression, chronic pain, and with veterans of all wars. I work to restore the balance of the energy body with the physical body allowing for healing and insight to take place.</image:caption>
